Our Story

 The BackWoods is a small family owned farm located in Groveland, Lake Co, Florida.



Overalls are for every occasion 😃 Our eggs are overflowing now. I'm in the process of reapplying for our Limited Egg and Poultry License to legally sell our eggs again. I'll update you all when we have it again.
📣Did you know it's required to sell eggs in Florida? Those selling legally are also required to wash eggs and sell them refrigerated. Yes we all know fresh eggs shouldn't be washed or refrigerated (if you are using them in a reasonable amount of time, not a month 😅) but knowing the laws will save your local small farmer a huge fine in the future. This is part of the reason our real farm fresh eggs are so costly.
